How will Aerosmith spend the days leading up to the release of 'Music From Another Dimension' their first album of all-new material in more than 11 years, due out November 6 on Columbia Records.

Steven Tyler (vocals), Joe Perry (guitar), Brad Whitford (guitar), Tom Hamilton (bass) and Joey Kramer (drums) will be in New York City, taking over the airwaves with performances and appearances on morning, daytime and late night talk shows. Things will kick off Thursday, November 1 with the band performing on “The Late Show with David Letterman,” with Tyler and Perry sitting down to talk with Letterman as well. The next morning (Friday, November 2), Aerosmith will perform an outdoor concert on NBC’s “The Today Show.”

On the same day, Tyler and Perry will join the ladies of “The View,” and the band will also be interviewed on “VH1 Big Morning Buzz Live.”

Later that day, the band will appear at an exclusive SiriusXM "Town Hall" event at the SiriusXM NYC studios. Aerosmith will answer a variety of questions from a live audience of SiriusXM winners and subscribers about the band's new album and career.

Next, Aerosmith will throw a street party in their beloved Boston hometown on the day before Election Day, Monday, November 5. They’re planning to show up somewhere in the city, around noon, and play on the streets. That’s all the band is able to reveal for now. They will announce the location the morning of November 5.

'Music From Another Dimension'!--recently chosen by People magazine (9-17-12) as one of “5 Must Have Albums For Fall”--marks Aerosmith’s 15th studio album. There has been a witch’s brew boiling for 10 years, and they’re about to blow the cover off. The album was recorded in Los Angeles and at the band’s studio in Massachusetts; it was produced by Jack Douglas, Steven Tyler and Joe Perry, with the exception of three tracks produced by Tyler and Marti Frederiksen. The album abounds with one highlight after another, including “Out Go The Lights,” “Oh Yeah,” “Luv XXX,” “We All Fall Down,” “Street Jesus” and “Can’t Stop Loving You,” on which Tyler duets with Carrie Underwood. The album also includes “Freedom Fighter” which features Johnny Depp on backing vocals. The album’s first two singles have been released simultaneously to radio and are now lighting up the airwaves: “What Could Have Been Love” at Hot AC and “Lover A Lot” at Rock, Active Rock, and Classic Rock.

To coincide with the album’s release, Aerosmith return for the second leg of The Global Warming Tour launching November 8. The month-long, 14-city arena tour will take the band to New York City (Madison Square Garden), Los Angeles (Staples Center) and Las Vegas (MGM Grand Garden Arena), among other cities. They’re fully armed with career-defining hits and blazing songs from the new album. The Live Nation-produced tour will include support act Cheap Trick. Tickets are on sale at www.LiveNation.com.
