Animal Collective is excited to announce the band’s return to New York. On Dec. 4-5, the band will play two dates shows at Manhattan’s Terminal 5. Fans who purchased tickets to the band’s postponed Williamsburg Park performance will have early access to pre-sale tickets for the rescheduled dates.

Tickets will be available to the general public on Nov. 9. The band will also be donating a portion of the proceeds from the show to the Hurricane Sandy recovery efforts of The American Red Cross.

The shows will mark the band’s first New York performance since releasing the band’s tenth album, Centipede Hz, on Domino Records. The band will also be playing UR1 Festival in Miami on Dec. 9.

Animal Collective will also be releasing a new “Applesauce” 10” single on Nov. 13, which will feature the band’s single “Applesauce” as well as the unreleased non-album track, “Crimson.” Stream the new song here and pre-order the 10” at the Domino Records Web Store here.
