Dispatch today unveiled the official music video for their single and title track from their forthcoming album, Circles Around The Sun. Currently premiering at VEVO, the video was directed by Eric Heimbold and is dedicated to Larry Perry, a young disabled man who (legend has it) was sent unwillingly into space by NASA in the '60s.

The video features footage of the band and Larry during various point of his life from childhood to adult as well as archived footage from NASA. 'Circles Around The Sun' is the legend of our friend Larry Perry, who passed away this past year," guitarist-vocalist Chad Urmston told Rolling Stone. Whether the legend of Perry's voyage into space is actually true is still debated amongst conspiracy theorists and his story has been told in How's Your News, an American television series and feature film that aired on MTV and captivated audiences. The video is a tribute to Larry. To find out more about Larry Perry, click here.

Circles Around The Sun is the group's first studio album in twelve years and will be released on August 21st on the band's own Bomber Records. Produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, Jonsi, The National), the album is an eclectic rock and roll record that delivers on the gutsy storytelling, compelling songwriting, and radiant harmonies that earned the band its diehard fanbase.

Available now on the band's web store, a limited quantity of music and merch bundles are available including: deluxe vinyl with a 28 page hardcover book, CDs, apparel, autographed photo prints, and more. For a complete breakdown of the various bundles available, click here.

In an effort to continue to use music as a vehicle for change, Dispatch will donate $1.00 per initial album pre-order to Amplifying Education, an initiative created by the band to support educational initiatives in local communities. An additional $1.00 from all tickets sold for the upcoming Circles Around The Sun Tour will also be donated to the cause. With the help of its fans, the band raised over $250,000 for the initiative in 2011. For more information please visit: www.dispatchmusic.com/giving_back.
