Chicago metal band Encrust release their debut album, From 'Birth to Soil' today, September 25, 2012 on Density Records. The five-piece is currently on Fender’s Carnival of Death Tour with Obituary, Broken Hope, Decrepit Birth, and Jungle Rot.

The band was recently added to the MetalSucks CMJ showcase to be held October 18 in Brooklyn at Public Assembly and includes Pig Destroyer, KEN Mode, and Early Graves along with Encrust.

A new lyric video for the track “Engine of Deceit” debuts today here: http://youtu.be/8aDJQSscYqI and fans can listen to a stream of From Birth To Soil in its entirety now at http://www.noisecreep.com/2012/09/21/encrust-from-birth-to-soil/

Formerly known as Hunters, Encrust is Chris Angelucci (vocals), Luke Tobias (guitar), Ryan Kasparian (guitar), Jeremy Pyrzynski (bass), and Brian Kutanovski (drums). Encrust have shared the stage with the likes of everyone from Red Fang and Corrosion of Conformity to Goatwhore and Exhumed, and the result is always high-energy and high-emotion - some have even described it as unsettling. "Here's an example," says Pyrzynski. "Chris broke his hand punching Ryan in the head because that's what they do live. They get wild, and it's always unpredictable—even for the rest of us on stage."
