Southern California's Kyng will join Megadeth on their 4-week Countdown To Extinction 20th Anniversary Tour kicking off November 9 in Providence, RI. The dates comes on the heels of Kyng's current outing on the Triple Threat Tour with Seether and Sick Puppies and wraps up a busy year on the road for the trio that saw them hit the road with Danzig, Hell Yeah, Clutch, 10 Years, The Sword and more.

Their performance at Orionfest in June earned them a stamp of approval from Metallica frontman James Hetfield after discovering them through Sirius XM program director Jose Mangin, who has championed Kyng since hearing early demos a few years ago.

The band is touring in support of their new single "Bleed Easy," which is impacting now at Active Rock Radio. The song is already in rotation at Sirius XM's "Octane," WJJO-FM (Madison), WIIL-FM (Chicago), KHTQ-FM (Spokane), WBYR-FM (Fort Wayne) and WZBH-FM (Ocean City).

Kyng will be the featured guest on the nationally syndicated radio show Rockline with host Bob Coburn on September 24 at 8:30pm PDT / 11:30pm EDT. Fans are encouraged to call to speak with members of the band toll free at 1-800-344-ROCK (7625). The show will be streamed on the Rockline website for two weeks beginning the afternoon after the live broadcast.

Their debut record Trampled Sun was released last fall on Realid Records (through Independent Label Group). The first single "Falling Down" saw heavy airplay at Sirius XM's "Octane" and "Liquid Metal" channels. SiriusXM was instrumental in bringing the band to what became their record label (REALID/Independent Label Group) and managers (In De Goot, who also represents Shinedown, Chevelle and others). Kyng's self-proclaimed "California Heavy" sound is a unique and universally appealing combination of heavy and captivating concepts, channeling influences from Black Sabbath, Led Zeppelin to Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age. Kyng is trio, Eddie Velix (guitar and vocals) Tony Castaneda (bassist and vocals), and Pepe Clarke Magaña (drummer).
