Matt and Kim Announce Lightning Pre-Order, ‘Now’ Song Download + video

Today, Matt and Kim launch the iTunes pre-order for their new full-length album 'Lightning.' The album officially hits shelves and all online outlets on October 2nd via Fader Label.

As an added bonus to the pre-order, the band is offering a free download of a brand new track, 'Now' on their official Facebook page. They are also releasing an intensely animated lyric video for the track - http://youtu.be/s20Rn9BlKeM.

Matt and Kim will perform the album's first single, "Let's Go," on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon on October 1st. Just two days later, on October 3rd, the duo takes their live show on the road for a seven-week North American tour in support of Lightning. Lightning, Matt and Kim's 4th full-length, was written, recorded and self-produced at home in their Grand Street apartment. The album's ten tracks capture their minimal two-person approach while also being their most dynamic and raw release to date. "Let's Go" shot into iTunes Pop and Alternative charts on day of release and received rave reviews from the likes of MTV, Rolling Stone, SPIN, ESPN, the New York Times and CBS News who "can't get enough of Matt and Kim."
