This fall, multi-platinum selling recording artist and award winning rockers, Three Days Grace, will head out on a special and intimate 12-city tour in advance of their highly anticipated new album, 'Transit of Venus.'

Hailed as music’s premier rock heavyweights, the quartetwill kick off the tour in Dallas, Texas on Monday, October 8th and make stops in multiple cities across the country including New York, Philadelphia, Minneapolis, and Washington, D.C. Three Days Grace just released the first single from 'Transit of Venus' last week entitled “Chalk Outline” which was #1 most added at Active Rock radio its first week out. Tickets go on sale August 24th and will be available via ticketmaster.com.

Produced by acclaimed producer Don Gilmore (LinkinPark, Hollywood Undead, Bullet for My Valentine), at Revolution Studios in Toronto, 'Transit of Venus' will be released October 2nd. “Chalk Outline” is now available for sale at all digital providers and a pre-order for 'Transit of Venus' is available at iTunes.

Three Days Grace has enjoyed massive radio and sales success, having sold over 6 million albums in the United Statesalone. Their previous album Life Starts Now (2009) debuted at #3 on the Billboard album chart and spawned three #1 hit singles (“Break,” “The Good Life,” and “World So Cold,”) at rock radio formats. “I Hate (Everything About You),” the breakthrough single from their debut self-titled album (2003) had a stronghold on the active and modern rock charts for over 47 weeks.

That success followed with their sophomore release One-X three years later which yielded three massive chart-topping singles “Never Too Late,” “Pain” and “Animal I Have Become,” all achieving the #1 spot at rock radio formats. “Pain” and “Animal I Have Become” were also awarded BMI Awards in 2006.
