Indiana hard rock band on the verge, Downstait, will kick off a U.S. tour this Friday, November 23rd with Atlanta-based quartet, Viasava. Downstait has launched itself into the mainstream spotlight performing theme songs for several WWE Superstars such as The Miz, Dolph Ziggler and Alex Riley, and will now take its punishing live show on the road for audiences around the nation throughout December. A list of confirmed tour-dates can be seen below.

"We're extremely excited to be on the road again," said bassist/vocalist, Sean Arata. "We're looking forward to hitting some places we've played before, playing some new material and seeing some familiar and new friends/fans!"

The emerging quintet will be touring in anticipation of the upcoming single, "Bad Motherf*cker," which will premiere in the coming weeks, with the band's second full-length record set to release early 2013 on SMR Records.

"Fans can expect a lot of what they've hopefully come to enjoy about the band - lots of big vocal hooks with heavy guitars, while also bringing some more melodic textures into the mix. We went heavier than ever on some tracks, and brought more emotion than ever to others. These songs mean a lot to us, and all around, I think we feel like we've found the sound we've always striven for with this album.

"'Bad Motherf*cker' is originally based around the character Ghost Rider. I think it has a hook that just about anyone will want to chant along to, which has been proven and very exciting at shows. We wanted to come out kicking as much ass as possible."

Downstait has been rumbling under the surface of the Fort Wayne, In. music scene since 2002. The band has sold more than 5,000 records in DIY fashion, while sharing the stage and touring with acclaimed acts like Rev Theory, Drowning Pool, Pop Evil, Queensrÿche, Saliva, Skid Row, 10 Years and more.

In 2009 Downstait signed to SMR, the record label headed by hard rock tastemaker, Sahaj Ticotin, of the Universal/Republic band, Ra.

Downstait went on to record several theme songs for WWE Superstars, while also being featured on ESPN and MTV programming.

With the impending release of "Bad Motherf*cker," the subsequent full-length and a confident, yet blue collar approach, Downstait will look to rise above its active rock contemporaries this winter.

"We'll be out on the road extensively, hitting every town we can possibly get to in the coming year," added Arata. "We hope to be the next big thing, but understand that revolves around earning the respect of the fans, and rocking out to the point that we want to fall down after each and every show. Anyone who has ever been to a show before expects us to do this already, and we won't be letting them down."
