Chicago-based blackened death metal quintet Black September have unleashed their gut-wrenching new album 'Into The Darkness Into The Void' for your listening displeasure exclusively on Brooklynvegan.com

The stream will remain active until the album's release on September 25th. You can pre-order the record along with an exclusive t-shirt for only $22 on the Prosthetic webstore now!

"Into the Darkness Into The Void," labeled "a truly epic slab of whip-smart death metal" by Decibel, has also been praised for its "overpowering intensity" and "vast swaths of sinister black-metal riffery" by Revolver. The album was recorded at Bricktop Recording with Andy Nelson (Veil of Maya, Weekend Nachos), and the band has described it as "one step beyond our previous efforts into a realm of untamed energy." Their previous release, 2010's "The Forbidden Gates Beyond" (which Prosthetic reissued in 2011) was described by Metal Hammer as "a singularly ravaging experience" and supported by shows alongside the likes of Enslaved, Skeletonwitch, 3 inches of Blood, Alcest and more.

The band will next be seen playing a record release show on September 29th at the Ultra Lounge in Chicago with support from Abysme, Coffinworm, and Terminate. You can also attend a free listening party on Sunday, September 23rd as part of Chicago Metal Factory's "Metal Sundays" hosted at Exit Chicago, where you will be able to pick up a copy of the album before anyone else!
