Los Angeles metal quintet Holy Grail will premiere their new single "Dark Passenger" on the nationally syndicated "Full Metal Jackie" radio program this weekend. A list of stations and airtimes is available here. The song appears on the group's sophomore album, "Ride The Void," which will be released in January. More information about the release will be revealed in the coming weeks.

Holy Grail's debut release, the critically acclaimed "Crisis in Utopia," made several "Top Albums of 2010" lists and earned the band Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards nomination in the "Best New Band" Category. Produced by former Nine Inch Nails member Danny Lohner, the album was labeled by Revolver magazine as "the catchiest album of pure heavy metal since Maiden, Priest, and Dio ruled the early '80s." Its leadoff track, "My Last Attack," received extensive airplay on MTV2's Headbangers' Ball and Sirius XM's Liquid Metal show.

The band was recently seen opening for Sebastian Bach in Los Angeles in celebration of the completion of the upcoming album, which was produced by Grammy winner Matt Hyde (Slayer, Children of Bodom). Earlier this year, the group embarked on national treks with Valient Thorr, Royal Thunder and Dragonforce. No stranger to an extensive tour schedule, the band maintains a strong work ethic that has seen them also share the stage with acts such as Amon Amarth, Blind Guardian and Exodus, in addition to playing some of metal's biggest international festivals (Wacken, Download, Loud Park, Soundwave). The group will return to the road next month; dates and details will be unveiled soon.
